Four Cedars Accounting Group was founded in 2010 and is built on practical experience, steady guidance, and a genuine commitment to client success. Our team brings together decades of expertise in accounting, payroll, state and local tax, and business operations, shaped by years of hands-on work with small and mid-sized businesses.
Every member of our team is a Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, Gusto Payroll Partner Certified, and Bill.com Expert Certified.
Melissa Mason, Principal & Managing Member
Melissa is the founding member of Four Cedars and oversees all internal operations and advanced client controllership duties. An entrepreneur at heart, she started the firm with a passion for helping small companies reach their most efficient operating potential. She has more than 30 years of accounting, HR, and operations experience across construction, technology / SaaS, real estate, biotech, and professional services. She graduated cum laude from Seattle University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. Melissa enjoys yoga and pilates, chasing the sunshine and traveling the world.
Sheeba Nayemi, Managing Director, Client Accounting
Sheeba leads our client accounting operations and is the Director-in-Charge for our more complex industries. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Washington and has 18 years of experience in construction, biotech, and professional services, with particular depth in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting. Outside of work, she loves traveling internationally with her family and enjoying the Pacific Northwest.
Brendan Mason, Director of Technology
Brendan is a technologist specializing in software development, database development and administration, and technology engineering. He has worked with businesses of all sizes across commercial construction, property management, retail, and software. Brendan's expertise in process improvement and technical efficiency is a key factor in what sets Four Cedars apart. When he isn't dreaming up our next database solution, he can be found fly fishing in remote corners of the world.
Anthony Glovo, Director of Bookkeeping
Anthony is a founding team member who manages our bookkeeping department and its dedicated team of accounting assistants. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Management Accounting and is passionate about continually advancing his expertise in accounting technology. Anthony is a dedicated teacher and mentor at Four Cedars. Outside of work he stays active with his two young children and wife.
Chris Nelson, Accounting Director
Chris excels at streamlining processes, optimizing efficiency, and translating monthly financials into guidance owners can act on. He holds a bachelor's degree from Colorado State University and has more than 20 years of senior accounting experience. Beyond finance, Chris is an accomplished guitar player — whether crunching numbers or arranging songs, he brings dedication, precision, and creativity to everything he does.
Shannon Doiel, Senior Accounting Manager, Head of Client Success
Shannon brings more than 10 years of accounting experience to Four Cedars, along with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Eastern Oregon University and a background spanning retail, real estate, property management, and technology. After three years working directly with clients on month-end close, payroll, A/R and A/P, she now serves as Head of Client Success — advising our accountants and clients, performing quality control review work, and helping onboard new clients. What she enjoys most is building genuine, lasting relationships with the businesses she supports. Outside of work, you'll usually find Shannon hiking or trail running with her dog at a nearby state park, or volunteering at her local animal shelter.
Veronica Franada, Senior Accounting Manager, Head of Contract Accounting
Veronica has been with the firm since 2012 and manages the accounting for our law firm and contract revenue clients. She has more than 30 years of accounting, customer service, and administrative experience, and is a master of efficient processes. When not hard at work, she enjoys spending time outside with her dog.
Amy Leenstra, Senior Accounting Manager, Head of Payroll
Amy oversees our clients' multi-state payroll and is an all-star when it comes to client service. She has more than 20 years of bookkeeping and payroll experience and loves helping her clients run their businesses. Her expertise centers on month-end close, payroll, and financial reporting, and clients know they can count on her for quick responses and clear explanations. When not working, you can find Amy outdoors with her three children or out on the water soaking up the sun.
Tabatha Jewell, Senior Accounting Manager, Head of State & Local Tax
Tabatha manages our clients' state and local tax filings and keeps their accounting on point and running smoothly. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and has five years of tax experience gained at a CPA firm. She loves her clients and teammates and is always ready to roll up her sleeves and do whatever it takes. When she's not at her computer, you can find her singing karaoke, reading, or traveling with her husband and son.
Krystel Tagarao, Senior Accounting Manager
Krystel specializes in complex project accounting and enjoys problem-solving and keeping everything running smoothly. She is detail-oriented, thrives in fast-paced environments, and takes pride in turning challenges into solutions while keeping every account accurate, organized, and on track. Krystel can usually be found watching the sun rise in her home state of New Mexico with her three dogs.
Camille Cabrega, Senior Accounting Manager
Camille has more than 20 years of experience specializing in detailed areas of accounting and purchasing. She is passionate about numbers and details and loves finding ways to make processes more efficient and accurate. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, gardening, and beach days. She believes life is all about making meaningful connections, both at home and at work.
Jennifer Ganassin, Senior Accounting Manager
Jennifer holds an associate degree in Accounting and focuses on client process improvement, complex project-based customer invoicing, and cleaning up new client books. Before joining Four Cedars, Jennifer was a stay-at-home mom raising four children — an experience that taught her patience, multitasking, and how to keep things moving in the right direction when they don't go according to plan. Outside of work, Jennifer loves spending time with family and friends, hiking, playing kickball, going to the gym, or anything involving sunshine and a body of water.
Kimberly Bray, Operations Manager
Kimberly directs general operations at Four Cedars and assists on special client projects. She is the main point of contact for our clients' vendor and customer correspondence and keeps their workflows running smoothly. A lifelong Washingtonian with an eye for detail and a passion for helping people, Kimberly holds an associate degree in Legal Studies and comes from a background of varied interests, including real estate and childhood education. Outside of work, she loves the outdoors and can always be found with a book or spending time with family.
Sandy Seppi, Support Specialist
Sandy assists with client accounts and firm operations. She has more than two decades of professional experience in operations, administration, and management, with a background in real estate, healthcare, and accounting. Sandy lives in historic Issaquah with her husband and son, where she enjoys spending time with her husband and son and exploring the outdoors.
